Clawdia

Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 18, 2026

1. What Clawdia is

Clawdia is a desktop app for Mac. The public website at clawdia.so exists to explain the product, publish download information, and provide policy and support pages. Clawdia is not primarily a hosted web app.

2. When Google data is accessed

Clawdia uses Google OAuth only when you choose to connect your own Google account inside the desktop app. Clawdia requests access so it can provide the Google-powered feature you asked it to perform inside the local desktop app.

3. How Google user data is used

In the local desktop version of Clawdia, Google user data is used only within the app on your device to provide the feature you enabled. Clawdia does not receive that Google user data on Clawdia-owned servers, does not sell it, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it to train generalized AI or machine learning models.

4. What is stored

Clawdia is designed to run locally on your computer. App content, settings, and Google connection state stay on your device in the local version. Clawdia does not operate its own backend service to receive, store, or process your Google user data for this local desktop flow.

For download access and desktop activation, clawdia.so stores invite redemption records, a generated desktop activation code, a random installation identifier, a hashed machine fingerprint, and last-seen timestamps so the app can verify that a redeemed seat is being used on the machine it was activated on.

5. How data is protected

Clawdia limits access to the minimum Google permissions needed for the feature you choose to use. The public website uses HTTPS, and the local desktop app is intended to rely on protections available on your device for locally stored app data and credentials.

6. Sharing and disclosure

In the local desktop version, Clawdia does not receive your Google user data on Clawdia-owned servers and therefore does not share that data with data brokers, advertisers, or other unrelated third parties. If you choose to send information from Clawdia to another service, that transfer happens only because you directed the app to do so.

7. Third-party services

If you use Clawdia with external AI, productivity, or storage providers, those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. This privacy policy covers the local Clawdia app and website, not the independent practices of those third parties.

8. Contact

Privacy questions, support requests, and Google OAuth verification follow-up can be sent to support@clawdia.so. You can also visit the support page.
